*When selecting a crate of appropriate size for your breed, the overall height/length of your pet is more important than the weight. It is generally recommended that your pet have a crate 6" longer that body length and 6" higher than shoulder height.

The crate alone ships at a reasonable cost; however, the addition of packaging materials for the pan (which ships separately) causes the pan to be oversize and therefore ships at oversize rates. It is more economical to purchase the comparable model 1154 which includes the pan in the same box. This saves on shipping and it is the same crate but measures 2" wider (37" rather than 35").
Also, due to large size, ground services seem to have difficulty handling. This results in a greater than normal rate of damage. Please inspect your crate carefully upon delivery and notify us immediately should there be any damage noted.
